2010 Tribal Consultation Sessions


Overview

The Department of Health and Human Services invites leaders of Tribal Governments operating Head Start and Early Head Start programs to participate in a formal Consultation Session with the Office of Head Start leadership. These sessions will help to better meet the needs of American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) children and families, taking into consideration funding allocations, distribution formulas, and other issues affecting the delivery of Head Start services. The Consultation Sessions are scheduled in the following regions:

An online Webinar may be offered in your Region for those unable to attend in person if there is sufficient interest. The online option will broadcast the proceedings and offer participants an opportunity to comment during discussions. To express an interest in attending a Webinar, please complete and submit the registration form indicating which Tribal Consultation date listed above you would be available to participate online.
